The passing of Hurricane ETA across the Honduran territory was a terrible experience for the Central America country. The destruction and pain caused by the force of nature has impacted a great number of families, with some of them, losing it all to the hurricane. There are people without home, clothes, medicine, food. Some are still looking for missing family members, and some are mourning for their lost love ones. After being greatly impacted by the COVID19 world pandemic, the pass of ETA, has been the nail in the hopes for a lot of people that don’t know how to bounce back after such a devastating year.
While they’re parents asking themselves how are they gonna feed their children in the days to come, some of us are blessed with food in our tables and roofs over our heads. A lot of us are wondering where are we going to spend our Thanksgiving celebration and what is going to be on the menu, while that night there is going to be a lot of children without even a piece of bread. Thanksgiving is a season for the families, for the unity, and for the hope. This is the very reason why we are doing ThanksGiving Relief, to honor the meaning of the season and help the Honduran families in need.
If we just shorten our dinner menus we can save some money and use it instead to bring relief to the people that need it so much. Every penny counts. Our plan and our hope is to bring help to some of the most vulnerable people in Honduras and to do it we need your support. We will be sending food and clothes containers to the Central American country to be distributed in a couple of locations in critical condition and without support from other parties. We want to help for as long as we can, so we’re gonna start our campaign this thanksgiving season all the way through the Christmas and New Year holidays. Hearts of Life would like to extend our upmost gratitude as we continue to help those in need this year.
